A RICH CURRICULUM WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVDUAL GROWTH
ELECTIVES
In order to provide some variety and chance for participants to delve into a topic of their choice, the AMOT program has a series of Electives which are courses that on selected topics which are covered in a short period of time. There are two such courses that are offered during the course of the year which focus on a particular area such as Intellectual Property or High Tech Entrepreneurship, or on topics of interest to particular faculty members (see attached list).
CAPSTONE PROJECT
The Capstone project is the culmination of the AMOT program course of study. The course is designed to provide participants with a framework for developing final projects which are of interest to them. Such projects could entail in-depth case studies on particular firms, or extensive research papers on current issues in technology management. The Capstone project enables participants to bring together their ideas gleaned from the entire Program and develop a final project which in some cases is the launching pad for a new career direction.
Since the AMOT program is designed for recent college graduates who have limited work experience, participants in the Program will be encouraged to work as interns for a period of time during the Program. The internship may be done in conjunction with the Capstone project or part time while attending classes.
